Skin rejuvenation is a procedure that uses a laser or intense pulsed light (IPL) with our Quanta Evo Light 4V system. In addition to softening the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, it treats blemishes, rosacea, redness/facial veins, pore size and sun/age spots.

IPL is a light source attracted to pigmented lesions and vascular lesions and improves the skin by working beneath the epidermis to increase collagen, thereby improving the appearance of the skin.

Skin rejuvenation by laser therapy involves light which penetrates the skin, briefly raising the temperature of the collagen fibers deep in the dermis. This stimulates new collagen production, thus improving the texture of the skin. It also helps reduce pore size.

The sensation of skin rejuvenation varies from one individual to the next, but is generally manageable for the majority of our clientele. Clients report feeling a mild sunburn-like sensation. For more sensitive clients, we carry a numbing cream which is available for purchase.

The number of sessions needed varies from client to client. It is necessary to repeat treatments every 3 to 4 weeks until the desired results are achieved.

You must refrain from any sun or tanning bed exposure 2 weeks prior to your treatment. It is imperative to ensure that the treatment area is not tanned prior to your treatment. A strong sunscreen is required 6 to 10 weeks post-treatment.

*Due to the extremely vulnerable nature of these treatments to sun exposure and its high propensity to become hypo or hyper pigmented with sun exposure, we refrain from doing treatments during the summer months. The treatment area CANNOT be tanned whatsoever prior to treatment.

Skin rejuvenation is primarily done on the face and neck. Please note that tattooed skin can not be treated.
