SPIDER VEINS/ROSACEA

Spider veins are small, dilated blood vessels that appear close to the surface of the skin, often on the legs and face.  They can be unsightly and may cause discomfort or itching.

Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory skin condition that causes redness primarily localized on the nose and cheeks.  The Quanta Evo Light 4 V is a safe and effective technology to treat rosacea of erythema or telangiectasia associated with rosacea.

Laser removal is a popular and effective treatment for spider veins.  Laser spider vein removal works by selectively targeting the unwanted vessels.  The Quanta Evo Light 4V technology uses laser energy to target the affected blood vessels, causing them to collapse and be absorbed by the body.  The treatment is relatively painless and requires little to no downtime.

One of the main advantages of using the Quanta Evo Light 4V system for spider vein removal is that it is non-invasive and can be performed in-office.  The treatment is quick and typically requires only a few sessions to achieve optimal results.  Additionally, the Quanta Evo Light 4V laser is safe and effective for treating spider veins on all skin types, including darker skin tones.

Compared to other spider vein removal methods, such as sclerotherapy, laser removal using the Quanta Evo Light 4V has several advantages.  For example, there is no need for needles or injections, and the treatment is less painful and less likely to cause scarring, permanent bruising or other complications.  Overall, laser removal using the Quanta Evo Light 4V is a safe, effective, and convenient option for those looking to improve the appearance of spider veins.

FAQs

  • Laser therapy can successfully treat a wide variety of vascular lesions, hemangiomas, and port-wine-stains. Common types of vascular lesions include spider veins, cherry angiomas (red spots), spider angiomas, and vascular birthmarks.

  • Laser spider vein/rosacea removal works by selectively targeting the unwanted vessels. The laser heats them up to extremely high temperatures, destroying the selected vessels and sealing them shut; which the body then reabsorbs. Our laser is able to specifically target the unwanted vessels without any damage to the surrounding tissue.

  • The sensation of removing spider veins with laser varies from one individual to the next, but is generally manageable for the majority of our clientele. Most clients report a brief, snapping sensation. With our medical grade laser, the Quanta Evo Light 4V, there is a cooling setting that can alleviate any discomforts during the session, free of charge! For larger or more sensitive areas, we carry a numbing cream which is available for purchase. However, if the area to be treated is fairly small (such as the face), numbing is generally not required.

  • Many clients notice their spider veins are significantly less visible following one session of laser treatment. However, to fully remove spider veins, you will likely need multiple sessions. Laser Treatment of erythema or telangiectasia associated with rosacea is very effective. The number of sessions you need can vary widely based on the size, quantity, and location of the veins you want to remove.
